Scotts Turf Builder Grass Seed Sun & Shade Mix provides root-building nutrition to help establish a stronger lawn, thriving in various conditions. This seed, fertilizer, and soil improver combination is ideal for new lawns or overseeding existing ones. Use it in three easy steps:
1. Prepare the area.
2. Apply the seed.
3. Rake the seed into the soil.
For optimal results, plant the seed in spring or fall when average daily soil temperatures are consistently between 55°F and 70°F, or air temperatures are between 60°F and 80°F. Keep the soil consistently moist by watering daily or as needed for at least 3 weeks, or until seedlings reach 2 inches in height.
For best results, use the product as soon as possible after opening and plant within the current growing season.
